James Black, 1808 PA married Mary Carter
Son David Black, 1845/49, Northumberland PA married Eliza Cleveland in 1883 prob. in Missouri. This family lived in Montour Co. PA, then Lee Co., Illinois, Jasper Co., Missouri and finally Nez Perce Co., Idaho.

Other children of James/Mary were William, 1843/45 PA and a daughter Mary Ann Black, 1855 Illinois and married Samuel Heverling.
