Hiya,

Looking for information on Jack and Polly (Emily) BLACK who had two children as far as I know - Hilda and Ellen.

I have 3 photos of them - the oldest looks like its from the late 1800s / early 1900s.

Jack and Polly were the Uncle and Aunt of Ellen Dickinson (nee Higgs) from Tunstall, Staffordshire. The info I have on Ellen is :

Mother: Elizabeth H Kent - Born 1980 Alton, Staffs
Father: Frederick William Higgs - Born 1979 Tunstall, Staffs
Mother & Father's Marriage: Sept 29 1902 - Fullford Parish, Staffs

Polly (Emily) does not appear on any of the Census reccords as a sibling of either Elizabeth Kent or Fred Wm Higgs. Its possible that the label on the back of the photo "Uncle Jack and Aunt Polly (Emily)" could mean "Great" Aunt / Uncle (of Ellen Higgs). In which case -

Elizabeth Kent's Mom and Dad are Ruben A Kent and Hannah Brownsett.

Frederick Higgs' Mom and Dad are John Higgs and Selina Cartlidge.

I dont suppose anyone knows about any of these people, or might know where else I can get information on them? Im pretty new at all of this so any help at all is appreciated.
