I am looking for the family of Lieutitia (I have seen it spelled Letitia also) F. Black( she was born about 1822 in Indiana) who married Benjamin Anderson in Coles County, Illinois in 1841. I have found them in the 1850 census in Iowa County, Wisconsin, they had moved there from Illinois. Then in 1855 they were back in Coles County, where Lieutitia gave birth to twins, Aaron T. and Frances P. Anderson, Lieutitia or Letitia and Benjamin had several children before the birth of the twins, there names were Sarah L., Elizabeth, and John Young Anderson. There is no sign of her after 1855. Benjamin remarried in 1860 to Elizabeth Ruth Ashmore. In the 1860 census I have found her children Sarah, Aaron and Frances living in the household of James Black and his wife, Elizabeth, Oakland, Coles County, Illinois.
Later in 1870 one child, Frances P. is in the household of her father, Benjamin and his second wife Elizabeth.
If you can help me find Lieutitia or have her in your family line, please get in contact with me. I would like to find out what happened to her, she may have died shortly after her twins were born???
Thank you,
Nancy Mundell
