I agree that Charles and Sophia were married in 1870, as I have both the 1880 census and the birth certificate for my grandfather (Henry) to support that. I have not been able to connect Eszra to Charles and those naturalization papers talking about Ireland as his place of origin say Ireland. Is it likely that someone would lie on their naturalization paperwork so as not to give away their true place of origin?? If the naturalization papers are wrong, then you may be absolutely right about the lineage.
How can I go about seeing the actual records?? Is there microfilm I can look at?? Are you connected to this lineage in any way?? Or are you just helping?? If you are helping, thank you very much for the time you have spent.
