James Black 1775-1858 of PA unto OH married Catherine lnu d 1867. They lived at Wayne Twp Montomery Co OH and they are buried at Bethel Church Yd, Miama Co OH. They had 10 children. James had 2 Wills. He also served in War.
Some of his ch are: Jacob, James, William, Priscilla, Matilda, and Juliana. One of them (my line) was William 1806 - 46 who married Elizabeth Brenner d/o of Jacob and Eliz (Shank) Brenner. Some ch of Wm and Eliz B Black are: Jefferson, Washington, Jacob, and James. One of them, being (my line) James Black b 1834 or so who married Minerva Jane Reynolds.
They had several (about 5) children: one of whom, was Franklin E Black 1863 OH d 1927 CA who married Margaret A (Maggie) Current 1869 IN 1932 CA and they had my grampa, Clinton E Black 1886 OH 1973 CA. Visit my site for more: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~teeterkinmy/index.html
Also, a Michael Reck has wife whose descendancy comes from Jacob Black. They have generously shared their info with me. He also has a website.
