Saw your message .I don!t see an Irish connection in my Black family. My Grandfather was Joseph Black married to Janet Shields December 31st 1890 in the Parrish ,Kilsyth ScotlandMy Grandfathers parents were David Black and Margaret Clyde OOPs! Wait..David Black (my great Grandfather I see was born in Ireland doesnt say where According to the 1881 census he was 39years old His wife Margaret Clyde was 30years old and born in Airdie There is no Alexander here .But we are close they could be cousins. e-mail me with what information you have
