I noticed an old message on Rootsweb regarding an ancestor from Scotland named Black. My grandmother was from Scotland and she had a brother David Black, born May 7, 1883 in Maryhill, Scotland. He moved to the U.S and settled in Texas. Nobody in the family has any information on him. I was wondering if he had any connection to the Blacks from Texas you mentioned.
