1. WILLIAM1 BLACK was born 1783, and died 4 Sep 1855. He married JANE KELLY Abt. 1820. She died 5 Jun 1856.

2. EDWARD2 BLACK (WILLIAM1) was born 8 Nov 1822, and died 15 Mar 1891. He married MARTHA NICHOLSON Abt. 1845. She was born Abt. 1825, and died 7 Jan 1872.

Generation No. 3

3. WILLIAM3 BLACK (EDWARD2, WILLIAM1) was born 15 Jul 1846, and died 18 Oct 1924. He married MARY MATTHEWS Abt. 1870. She was born 17 Mar 1848, and died 9 Apr 1933.

4. JAMES4 BLACK (WILLIAM3, EDWARD2, WILLIAM1) was born 23 Jul 1873 in Grosvenor St., Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. He married (1) EDITH ELIZABETH COCHRANE 13 Jul 1897 in St. Jude, Church of Ireland,Ballynafeigh, County Down, N.I., daughter of THOMAS COCHRANE. She was born Abt. 1875. He married (2) ELSIE NEEDS DYSON Abt. 1910, daughter of FRED DYSON and ANNIE ARMITAGE. She was born 17 Feb 1891 in Denby Dale, Yorkshire.
