Karen, Jonathan Black was my husband's gggrandfather
He was born 14 Mar, 1623 in Champa[gn Co., OH. He
died 15 Nov, 1903 in Curtis, Lewis Co., WA. His father
Daniel was born in Washington Co., PA abt 1801 and
moved with his family to Champa[gn Co., OH when he was abt 10 years old. There he married Elizabeth Haines
on 31 July, 1823. Jonathan was the oldest of nine
children. Daniel moved with his family to Trenton Twp.,
Henry Co., IA in the 1840s. Jonathan married Sarah Jay
15 Apr., 1847 in Henry Co., IA. They had 11 children, all
of them moved with their families to Lewis Co., WA with
them in the 1870s.
