You believe then we're speaking of the same George Black? I believe my George was married to Nancy Ann Bilsby in Knox County, Ohio on May 20, 1847. By 1859 he had migrated to Fayette County, Illinois and had remarried Mary Ann Warren. If this is your George, from whom do you descend? I descend from his son George Washington Black, my great grandfather. He had several siblings according to census info, but some may have been half sisters or even step sisters. The siblings names I have are Mary Ann, Orlando, Sarah Jane, Mary, Nancy E., Mary Jane, Rachel and Henrietta. My grandfather was Arthur Orlando Black. I'll be glad to share what I have, if this the same Black. Email me directly if you wish.
