Hi BLACKS!

I am looking for Parents & Siblings of Lemuel Jones who was likely brother/cousin Stephen Jones in SE Kentucky, Monroe Co. / Cumberland Co.

My Main Interest is PARENTS / SIBLINGS of: Lemuel Jones b. abt 1780 (KY?) d. abt 1834 in Monroe Co. Tompkinsville KY.

Lemuel Jones Married Sarah Kirkpatrick abt 1805 in KY. They had 15 children. Lemuel Jones is is my GGG Grandfather. Sarah Kirkpatrick is my GGG Grandmother ... her father was Moses Kirkpatrick. Moses and Lemuel had farms adjoining each other in Meshack Creek area of Kentucky right next to a farm of Abraham Lincoln's father ... Thomas Lincoln.

Who were Lemuel Jones Parents and where did they come from?

I suspect JONSES came from Virginia or North Carolina. I believe parents may have been in/near a KY Fort or been early settlers with Daniel Boone.

1810 Cumberland Co. KY Census shows Stephen Jones enumerated right next to his brother (twin)/ cousin Lemuel Jones.

Stephen/Steven Jones b. abt 1779 in KY (shows that from a 1850 IL census) d in 1856 in Macoupin Co IL married Elizabeth BLACK in KY.
