I assume you are talking about the Harry O. Black with a wife named Daisy and children Harry O. and Bobby in the 1930 census. They were living in St, Louis at the time.
I believe Harry O. Black’s father was Harry Black and when he died August 22, 1943, he was buried in Pennsylvania in the same cemetery where his mother was buried (her marker says only Mrs. George Black). The older Harry had a sister Olive, and a brother John W (for Winfred I believe); he also went by Frederick.
You mention that his mother was Mary E (Ellen) and his father was George. George sold property in Westmoreland County, PA, in October 1913 and Mary is not part of the transaction which leads me to assume she has died. Do you know when either Mary or George died, or where? I have not been able to identify where Mary Ellen Mason comes from. Who were her parents?
The family was originally German, but I assume you know that.
