Arlin, I may be mistaken about Martin Van Black having a son named Marshall as this is definitely the right family and I appreciate this information.

Martin's wife Nancy I've learned is Nancy E. Roberts, daughter of Cornelius Roberts ca 1809 SC and who raised his children in Gwinnett and Hall counties in GA.
