I believe my Black's were orginally in Texas then moved to Louisiana. After my grgrgandparents divorced my grgrgrandfather (George Black) moved back to Texas and as far I know no one ever knew what happened to him. My grgrgrandmother (Georgia Anne Corner Black Scroggins) stayed in Springridge LA.
