William R. Black was born in the Ottawa region(either in Ontario or Quebec) April 29, 1852. He married Rebecca Merrifield (b. July 23, 1853, Aylmer Ont./Quebec?) April 25, 1876. They moved to Toronto shortly after their marriage and had 7 children, only 3 lived to adulthood.
My husbands grandfather, William Howard Black was one of them. The remaining children are Lillian Black (m. A. Kitchen) and Maud (m. Horace Forster).
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
