I have a copy of my great-grandmother’s cookbook, “The Kentucky Home Cook Book”, compiled by the Ladies of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, Maysville, Kentucky, from 1884. It has a collection of ‘receipts’ from nearly 200 Kentucky women, including Mrs. Joseph H. BLACK of Maysville, Kentucky. If you connect to the Blacks, and would like a copy of the recipe, I would be happy to email it to you.
