Do you know anything about any of the Joseph Blacks on the 1850 census of Georgia. None of them were in Hall Co. I do not have access to Georgia census records. My husband g-grandfather Joseph Albert Black,,jr was born in Ga. in 1848 according to his death certif. Died in Corpus Christi, TX in 1915. He and wife Ada Francis Bailey Sikes named their first child a daug. Thomas Adella. Sons were Benjamin, Judson, William, and Lester. Ada nee Bailey was a widow when she married Joseph abt. 1878 probably in Ga.
