I have some information gathered from web genealogical resources that may be of some help in answering your inquiry. From what I can tell from the LDS database and information from selected Texas county records, your Robert Marion Black was born 2 August 1878 in Eastland County, Texas and died about 1950 in Gruver, Hansford County, Texas where he is buried. He first married Lela Beryl Delaney who divorced Robert and she remarried and died on 11 October 1979 in Orange County, California. Rober Marion Black remarried soon after his divorce to Nona Lee Williams in about 1917 in Callahan County, Texas (the county just west of Eastland County). Nona Lee was born on 24 July 1893 in Austin, Travis County, Texas and died on 6 May 1958 in Perryton, Ochiltree County, Texas (the county just east of Hansford County) and was buried in Gruver, Hansford County, Texas near Robert Marion Black. Robert Marion's parents were Robert Marion Black (b. 4 October 1844 in Crawford County, Arkan!
sas and d. 1890) and Margaret Mae E. Vinsant (b. 15 October 1846 in Van Buren County, Arkansas and d. 1923 and married Robert 31 August 1864 in Crawford County, Arkansas). Robert and Margaret had seven children of record in addition to Robert Marion, i.e., Henry Thomas Black (b. 165 October 1865 in Crawford County, Arkansas), Mary Girtroud (b. 27 March 1868 in Crawford County, Arkansas and married Frank Kynett in Eastland County, Texas), Loulie Tennessee (b. 8 April 1870 in Crawford County, Arkansas and married a Mr. Angel about 1895 in Eastland County, Texas), Margaret Elizabeth (b. 22 November 1872 in Tarrant County, Texas and d. 15 May 1967), Florence (b. 1875 in Tarrant County, Texas), Laura Bell (b. 20 January 1882 in Eastland County, Texas and married a T. C. Richardson about 1910), and finally Lee Downtain (b. 4 April 1885 in Eastland County, Texas and d. 12 January 1972). One LDS record shows that your Robert Marion's grandfather was James Black of Crawford County!
