Thanks for your reply, but it seems this may not be the Carrie I am looking for. The Carrie Black I am looking for would have been a bit younger, as her children were born about
1902- Maude, 02-08-1904- Willi Jo, about 1907- Sally Kate, and 04-26-1909- Edna.
It has been very difficult, as there are many Jesse DeLoach's in the family, and apparently severeral Carrie's from the area. I have a marriage license for a Jesse and Carrie Surrency, but this too, proved to be the wrong one. If you have any further info, I would really appreciate it. Perhaps the Carrie you mentioned was my Carrie's mother?
I know that my Carrie was alive in 1910 (listed as wife) and living with J.M., and the 4 daughters according to the Tattnall Co. Georgia census. J.M. DeLoach married again in 1913 in Tattnall County, GA. , so at least I now have a 3 year window to explore. Thanks again -
