I have the children of Thomas Black who is the son of Richardson Black. :
James Richardson Black b 30Aug 1824.,Caswell Black b1 Sept 1826 d 26 Nov 1856 , married Elizabeth Derrick of Hampton,Henry County, GA 19 Dec 1854. Death found in History of Henry County, GA
William Black b 17 Nov 1831,Sidney Black b 17 Feb 1834,Permelia Black 17 Dec 1835, John Black b 23 Dec 1838, Cary Black b25 DEc 1842, Nathaniel Black b 2 June 1850 killed in the Civil War, said to have married Elizabeth Derrick Black widow of his brother Caswell., Susan Black b 16 Jan 1845

Richardson Black was born in Virginia and Thomas was also born in Virginia. Thomas married Faitha Meadows of Eatonton,Putnam County, GA 18 Aug 1823. I have just been trying to find Elizabeth Derrick who is the sister of my g grandfather William D Derrick. She has just vanished. She and Caswell had one daughter as given on the 1860 census as M. C., female and age 3yrs. She had to have been born after Caswell died. We assume that she is the dau of Caswell could have been the dau of Nathaniel. Such a mystery.
