I really do not have much to add that is not already shown on your worldconnect.rootsweb.com site for Jesse Miller Black. However, you might wish to update your current genealogical data to include the 1880 Census information from Wilson, Green County, Missouri. In this census Jesse is living with his wife Julia Ann Patterson and their children, i.e., Albert (b. ~1871), William T. (b. ~1874), Lucy L. (b. ~1877), and Mary I. (b. ~1879). Jesse states in the census that he was born in Missouri and his occupation being a farm laborer. Sorry that I do not have more.
