I am looking for information on Melinda Black born about 1800. She
married William H. Norris in Wilcox County AL in 1821 and she died there
about 1832.

It is said that she was a cousin of Mary Black, 2nd wife of William H.
Norris and Mary was the daughter of Samuel Black and Isabella Johnson.
If the cousin connection is correct, then it would seem that Melinda had
to be a daughter of one of Samuel Black's brothers and I currently have
none of their names.

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very
