HE shows up in the 1900 Census in Mineral, township of Oronogo, Jasper County, MO. He was living next door to Parthena Thena Jane Smith and her parents. He wa sborn in Illinois in 1870 and so were his parents.
They were married in Joplin or Carthage, Jasper Co MO supposedly in January of 1910 or 1911.
WIlliam Black supposedly died in Joplin, Jasper Co MO 30 May 1916.
The couple had two daughters, Neva Jean Black b. MO 3 Jan 1912 and she died in San Bernadino Co CA she married William Cooper.
They had fivechildren that we know about.
THe other daughter was Virginia Pearl Black and she married James Beard. Virginia was born in MO 4 Sep 1913 and died 4 Jun 1997 at Merced Co, Madera, CA. She married James Beard b. 7 Jun 1918 and died 5 Dec 1980 at Merced Co CA
They had two children that we know about who were both born in Joplin, MO.
