Emma Jane JENKIN married John HOOPER in the 1890s. They had 4 children, two of which were Roy b. abt. 1907 and Winnie b. abt. 1900. Emma and John died before 1910 and Roy and Winnie were raised by their Uncle Silas George Jenkins, a Methodist minister in Cornwall and Devon.

The last letter I have from Silas was in 1947. He said Roy was a Chaplain in the R.A.F. and had 2 children: Patricia b. 1936 and Tony b. 1942. Roy was also a Methodist minister in Cornwall. Winnie married someone with the last name BLACK and had twin daughters b. June 1928 named Margaret and Dorothy.

My grandfather, Arthur Jenkin/s, was the brother of Emma and Silas. I'm looking for any information on these HOOPER or BLACK families.
