Thanks for the information. Do you know if the Blacks were Cherokee? I did find a William Black that was full blooded Cherokee. I found him to be married to a Fanny Hill and Eleanor Miller. Is this the same one or a different line? The family has said that there is Indian Blood in the line, but I haven't found anyone who can varify it.
