Hi, I too am looking for Mary Black but probably no connection. she was Native American born 1816 or 1819 in Tn, possibly Al. But she is said to have married in IL. in 1835 to a Barton. Perhaps a 2nd marriage, going back to maiden name. Sounds off the track but when you search every avenue for so long, you start taking very long shots.
