I am in Mobile and living in the home bult by Thomas O. Goodbrad son of Margaret (Knowles) and John Goodbrad and his wife Annie.

My research shows John Goodbrad to have managed and sometimes owned saloons; Margaret ran a florist shop from their home and for a time downtown on Royal Street.

John Goodbrad died on DEC 13, 1894; Margaret died on March 12, 1916. Son George and daughter Regina continued her flower business. Grandson Thomas Jr. worked there for a while and later opened his own shop at 63 S Monterey.

I have more information on some of these people. I, of course, an trrying to find any photos of the Thomas Goodbrad house on Dauphin Street.
