I have some records of a Missouri Black Family that may fit your inquiry. Joseph Edward Black (b. per the Social Security Administration on 20 May 1886 in Perry County, Missouri and d. December 1977 in Poplar Bluff, Butler County, Missouri) married Mary Melissa Fewell (b. ~1892 in Missouri). I have no data on the children of this marriage. However, Joseph's parents were Jules Rosamond Black (b. ~1861 in Missouri) and Mary Magdalen Cissell [sometimes shown as Cecil] (b. 11 July 1869 in Perry County, Missouri). Jules Black was the son of Lewis [sometimes shown as Louis] Black (b. ~1820 in Kentucky) and Nancy Wadkins [sometime shown as Watkins] (b. ~1825 in Illinois). Lewis and Nancy Black had a large family in addition to Jules, i.e., Mary A. (b. ~1845 in Missouri), Lydia (Ludy) (b. ~1848 in Illinois), William (b. ~1851 in Illinois), James (b. ~1852 in Illinois), Ann (b. ~1854 in either Missouri or Illinois), Nancy (b. ~1855 in Missouri), Luella b. ~1857 in Missouri), Mel!
issa (b. ~1844 in Missouri), Zeno (b. ~1868 in Missouri), and Louisa Elizabeth (b. 11 April 1843 in Perry County, Missouri and d. 19 May 1918 in Randolph County, Illinois). The only child I have seen listed for Jules and Mary Black was Joseph Edward. Aftraid that this is all that I currently have but hope helps a little.
