Hi Kay,

We are looking for two different people. My Lewis BLACK (my g-g-g Grandfather) married a Mary CAMPBELL; I found a researcher that had both of them in the 1850 Federal Census.

The 1850 census is a mess. Several of the families were listed twice, some not at all. It looks like there were two Lewis/Louis Blacks. The families that were listed with them are different. The wives are different. One has son, George - the other has son Wm."
