MRS.[sic] MARY ERLA BLACK - Miss Mary Erla Black, aged 71, died at 10:30 o'clock last night, at the home of her brother, J.H.B. Black of Bruin.

Miss Black was born in Cherry township and had been a resident of Bruin for the past 40 years. She had been a school teacher for a number of years and for the past few years had been associated with her two brothers in the operation of a general store at Bruin. She was a member of the Martinsburg Presbyterian church and the Order of Eastern Star of Parkers Landing.

She leaves two brothers, J.H.B. Black and G.S. Black, both of Bruin.

Friends will be received at the home of G.S. Black at Bruin where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. Kemper Y. Taylor, officiating.

Burial will be made in the Allegheny cemetery.
