Thanks for the warning. But I said the 25 years was a guess and then I rounded to an even decade adding one more year to the guess. 25 years is a good GUESS, however for the start of a family counting back from the birth of the oldest child when no other information is known or the additional information is limited as it is in this case.
I have one ancestor who was still having kids at 60+ and some genealogists have even claimed he was 75+ when his youngest child was born. Another friend goes the other way with an ancestral mother age13!
I can show you hundreds of families from my database with documented birthdates for a first child occurring when the father was somewhere in his mid-20s.
