My husbands Black family are all from the PA/MD border. We also have a John and a James in our line but would be much older than you John A. Black. they could be uncles or grandfathers to your John. Curious, I have seen your post before and decided to reply, could you give me more info on your Blacks? I am very sure any Black from PA/MD border has to be tied in some way.
