In the French Lick Township of Orange County on the 1850 census and 1860 census there is a family of Blacks The 1860 listing gives the following information;
Robert Black 51 Scotland wife Sarah 42 Ind.
children Henry 17 Ind, Mary 15 Ind, Parmelia 13 Ind, James 12 Ind, Lavina 7 Ind, John 5 Ind, and Elizabeth 3 Ind, on the 1850 census there is also listed a William who was 9 at that time Searching for any Informatio on this family are there any descendents out there who might have any information about the grand parents of the Sarah who is listed as wife, she was Sarah Dougherty b. 1818 Ind Thank you very much Mary Lou
