TRUETT L. BLACK, 77, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
He loved the city of Santa Fe and served as a minister and music educator for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Jim and hwife Martha of Santa Fe, and David and wife Claudia of Albuquerque; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, 1313 Apache Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 531 Harkle Road, Suite B, Santa Fe, N.M., 87505.
