I have a John Black in my line who was born in Butler County, PA in 1806. I realize that My John Black is not the same person as yours but I wonder if there is any connection to your line. I can not find anything about the parents or sibblings of my John Black. He married Sussanna Catherina (Catherine) Keener in 1828 and had one son named Solomon Black who was born in 1830 in Indiana County, PA. John Black disapears (I can find no mention or record of a death date or anything else) around 1835 but his widow(?) Catherine marries Moses Wilhelm around 1836. If you have any information that supports a connection I would love to hear from you.
