You should email a cousin of mine, Kathy Eubank at think that is right...look her up on this board via her name. Sh is or has been pres. of the MS chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy and she has membersip in theDAR...I got most of my info. on my 6x great grandfather,Thomas Black, through her. He is listed as being in the Old 96th in the York County area of SC asof 1779. He is buried in a patriot gravesite in Clover (?), SC. My maiden name is Black...and my line is a direct male line all the way to my father and to Kathy's great-grandmother in MS. Her great gandmother and my great grandfather were brother and sister.
