The only info I have on George Black born in Huntingdon, Pa in 1817is that his fathers name was George Swartz Black and his mothers name was Anna Maria Catherine Zimmerman. He had 7 brothers, I do not have my papers here at the moment but I believe his brothers were. David, Martin, Charles, Jesse who died at 16 yrs, William, Robert and I can't think of the other one off hand. The brother Charles is my husbands grgrgr grandfather who was born and died in Huntingdon, Pa. If you think any of these names may be familiar to you please e-mail me. I truly believe all Black's coming from Pennsylvania are related. Just putting them in order is the problem. Hope this helps. I also have an Idea that yes some of these boys of George Swartz Black did move on to other states and used the same names for their children such as George, David, William, Robert etc. Makes it very hard to sort them out. I would love to find someone who can make a connection.
