BLACK, Kathleen (Kay) - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Van Daele Extendicare Nursing Home on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the age of 78. Cherished wife of Bill. Loving mother of Barry (Barbara) and Jerry (Judy). Devoted grandmother of Brady, Bryan, Kathy and Cheryl. Sister of Margaret Prince and Cecilia Whittaker (Charles) of her hometown Montreal. Sister-in-law of Elvin Black (Doris), late Lloyd (Irene), and late Maurice (Isobel). Kathleen is predeceased by her sister Edith Prince and brother Albert Prince (Maisie). She was a proud member of the RCAF (W.D.) W316574, based at Dartmouth Nova Scotia. She moved to Timmins as a new bride in 1945. She was an active member of the Hospital Auxiliary in Elliot Lake 1958 to 1964 and at the Plummer Hospital thereafter. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Monday, December 8, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Arthur Fune!
