Hi, I to am looking for the parents of a George Swartz Black born Strasburg, Lancaster Pa. Birth date is 1777, the interesting thing is our George Swartz Black had 8 sons that we know of and he and his wife Anna Maria Catherine Zimmerman also had a set of twin boys a Charles & a Jesse. Jesse died at age 16. Charles is my husbands 3rd great grandfather and George Swartz Black the 4th great grandfather. My thought is since our George has Swartz as his middle name and the dates fit, it may be possible your David and Johannes Swartz maybe George's brothers. If this is the case we have the same problem in commen, who were there parents? My daughter and I have been looking for George's parents for a long time and have had no luck. Do you have any other names of siblings to your David and Johannes Swartz? I would love to talk more with you on this to see if our family's are connected. Please e-mail me at . times misses responses to the Black message boards. I check my e-mail daily hopeing someone out there will connect with our Black's. Given they were all born in the same Lancaster Pa in the same time span tells me they have to be connected somehow, if not brothers than maybe cousins.
