I think we are on the right trail on John Anderson Black, my grandfather. He was the son of James Alexander Black 'Eck' Black (20 Sept.1859-3 Sept.1943)0 and Ida Gilpin. They had Will Black, John Anderson Black (25 Jan.1882 to 23 Feb.1949) who was married to Bessie Ellanor Garrett, and Andy Jim Black (27 Dec.1885-3 Mar.1960). Ida Gilpin died young and he married Missouri Tennessee (Sue) Creason and
they had several children.
James Alexander "Eck" Black also had a brother names John Anderson Black who was born 28 Sept.1865 and died 19 Nov.1948. Hope this helps. Would love to hear more.
