Thanks for your message. Sorry for not explaining where Derry is. The full title is "Londonderry". It is a city and County in Northern Ireland.
Joseph and Catherine were my Great Grandparents. I have found them with their children(including my Grandfather) in the Parish of Lower Cumber which is in the County of Londonderry. I cannot find Joseph or Catherine's births or origins yet. Their childrens births were from about 1830 to about 1848, in the same area.
So far, I have not found any connection with The USA.
I have lots of names and dates of people form the above dates onwards.
I have just registered with this message board and hope to put more of my family tree on. As I am only an inexperienced typist and computer user, this will probably take me some time.
