My gggrandfather was William Black, born abt. 1806 in Pennsylvania. He came to Athens Co., Ohio and married Ann Camby there in 1828. Do you have any information as to where George Black was from or if he had brothers or sisters?
I believe George's parents were George Black and Fanny Carter, both from Pennsylvania. George Black did marry Hannah Phillips and the Phillips were all there in Waterloo, with my gggrandfather William. I am just wondering if they are related.
