Do you have any information about your George Black, b. 1817? My gg-grandfather, George Black, was, according to 1850 Knox County, Ohio census information, born in Pennsylvania and his age was listed as 32. That would mean he was born in 1818, if all information given was accurate. He married a Nancy Bilsby in Knox County in May, 1847. His sons were named Orlando and George Washington, while his daughters were named Mary Ann, Nancy, Sarah Jane and Rachel. Any name similarities? Do you know of any Bilsbys living in Huntingdon during that period?
