Early Spring was chosen by several West Penners for their weddings.
Doris BLACK, Connellsville Billing department, was married to Ronald BIGAM
of Normalville, March 21. Following the ceremony in the First Baptist
Church, Connellsville, the couple left for a honeymoon trip through the
Southern States. The bride is a daughter of Ralph BLACK of Connellsville
Power Station.
April 18 was the date chosen by two daughters of West Penners for their
weddings. Margaret STRANG, daughter of Brownsville meter reader Andrew
STRANG, was married to Charles STUART in a ceremony at the First Methodist
Church, Brownsville. Ann SHERAW, daughter of Connellsville supervisor of
field meter service M. S. SHERAW, exchanged marriage vows with Charles LIGHT
in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Connellsville.
Retired Connellsville West Penner Dominick VIRGILE and his wife marked their
golden wedding anniversary, March 25, with a mass of thanksgiving, family
dinner and reunion. Among the many gifts presented the couple was $550 in
cash.
Brownsville groundman E. Merle RANDOLPH exchanged vows with Edna MOORE in a
March 7 ceremony at New Salem's Presbyterian Church.
