I'm researching BLACKs who migrated from SC to Butler Co., Alabama. Because the name Hugh BLACK runs in my family, a nice researcher mailed me the death certificate of one Hugh Black. He isn't mine, but might connect somehow to my BLACKs. Let me know if you have information on him or his father. Here's the information off his death certificate:

born 6-30-1855 in York Co., SC
died August 7(?), 1939
died at 84 years, 1 month, and 9 days in Great Falls, SC
retired farmer
married to Eliza
Hugh's father--Jasper Black of York Co., SC
Hugh's mother--Minnie Gibson of Fairfield Co., SC
Informant was Mrs. Eliza Black of Route 1, Great Falls, SC
Burial at Bethesda Cemetery in Fairfield Co.
Undertaker--looks like JM Harden, Jr.
Address looks like Winnsboro, SC
Cause of death was _______ cerebral hemorrhage
