old message from you, but thought I would send this info. I have a James M. Black in my line. But b. 1828, sc or al? he has 3 brothers, Adam D, John, and Francis P. (my great grandfather), sisters: Mitila, Cathsanda (sp), Cathrine, Araminta, and Martha, two mothers, Jane Davis and Elizabeth Black (the two women are cousins. Jane died ca 1837 and Elizabeth ca 1845. The children went to Union Co. Arkansas in the 1840's with their father, John C. Black. Im searching for father's parents . If we are related will be happy to share my info. not all is confirmed. Dont know if this is the one your are searching. Good luck, Nancy
