My grandfather was James Russell (J.R. or Jimmie) Black. He and his wife, Nancy (Nannie) America Craig Black both died before my grandmother was 8 years old, so she knew virtually nothing about them.
Things I do know: married 1/3/1892, they had 8 children: Luke, Claud, Fannie, Dora, Irma & Irva (twins), Jewel and one other that I either don't know the name of or it died in childbirth. Nannie died while giving birth to the last child. J.R. was a farmer... and that's all the info I have.
