Hi would u by any chance have a Charles E. Black who married Elcy Mariah Canode. Charles was born Apr. 14 1861. Info. that I have is that he was orphaned an raised by an Adkins family. Charles and Elcy lived in Craig Co. Virginia. I believe Charles family may have been related to the Black familys of Botetourt Co. and according to the censuses there were only a few Black families there. Also Charles may have had at least one brother John who may have been abt. 10years older than he. Hope to find a connection. Sincerely, Linda
