Interested in marriage of JOHN BLACK to # 1, ANNA DAVIS and #2, MARY DAVIS ca late 170O's. JOHN BLACK, b. ca. 1760, son of WILLIAM BLACK, RS.(William Black d. 1826). John lived in Jefferson County, Georgia Nov. 1800. He moved to Screven County by 1809. There are 5 DAVIS men listed in 1799 tax records in Jefferson County, Georgia: BENJAMIN DAVIS and THOMAS DAVIS in Tarver District. JOHN DAVIS, WILLIAM DAVIS, and RICHARD DAVIS in Key District. Would anyone have info as to marriage between John Black and a female in one of these Davis families. Thanks.
