I ran across quite a few Black's on the list of passengers on the
Ship Affghan, Glasgow,Scotland to Boston, Massachusetts, 10 August
1847. This information was on Vol 3 of the Immigrant Ships
Transcribers Guild at

In the notes, the transcriber covers quite a bit of Blacks who
settled in Allegheny County, PA who were the transcribeers
ancestors.The transcriber was Maia Cowan and the record is from NARA
Film M237, Reel 68, AB5038. As these Blacks were not my family, I
figured maybe someone might benefit from this information. It is 6
pages of information.
